Lighting a Unity Candle. Today we have three candles. One representing _bridename_ , one representing _groomname_ and one larger candle representing the family unit that they are creating by their marriage. First I want to invite _bridemothername_ and _groommothername_ to come forward. You can now each light one of the smaller candles and then pass them to _groomname_ & _bridename_ who will together light the larger candle._groomname_ & _bridename_ in the lighting of these candles together you are symbolising the creating of a stronger brighter light that will shine forth for all the world to see. Your marriage today and your growth together as a family will forever shine as your love for each other grows.
