Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you _groomname_ and _bridename_of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship you are now about to enter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people, to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.

Celebrant:     _groomname_, will you take _bridename_ to be your lawful wife, will you love and respect her, be honest with her, and stand by her through whatever may come, so that you can genuinely share your life together?

Groom:    I will.

Celebrant:      _bridename_, will you take _groomname_ to be your lawful husband, will you love and respect him, be honest with him, and stand by him through whatever may come, so that you can genuinely share your life together?

Bride:        I will.
